Magic Of Making Up System - How To Avoid Being Hurt By Your Ex Again

Posted on timeAugust 31st, 2009 by userChristine     flagNo Comments

Girls, are you getting signs your ex wants you back? Then beware. There are some things you need to assess before making the decision to jump back into the fire.

We understand you’re hurting if he broke it off with you in the first place and you wanted to keep the relationship going but consider for a minute why he broke it off. Did the decision to end the relationship catch you totally by surprise? We’re you ready for it?

Relationships end every day and many for the wrong reasons. You have no doubt kept the faith that one day he’ll come knocking on your door and asking you to try again. How will you react? Consider that there are some guys who just want to stay in touch because they can still get what they want from you. Are you playing this game?

In this article, we’ll help you sort out the real signs your ex wants you back from those manufactured through hopeful thoughts. There is a difference.

How To Tell If He Really Wants You Back

In the Magic Of Making Up system, this topic is covered in detail and many will be left shocked at what they find. A light bulb moment generally happens and saves many women from making a huge mistake. Let’s look at some of the signs you should be aware of:

#1. Perhaps the biggest sign your ex wants you back is when he begins trying to communicate with you frequently. You start to notice you’re getting phone calls or text messages and emails more regularly and he seems to want to just keep in touch. This is often a good sign that he wants to test the waters to see if you’re still angry or if you’re willing to talk.

#2. If you notice during conversations with him that he keeps telling you about things he’s doing that are new or different, these could be signs that he’s trying to impress you by improving himself. In his mind, he’d be thinking he wasn’t good enough to make the relationship work last time, so working to find ways to impress you, such as joining a gym or taking self-help classes or aiming at a new promotion at work or trying to earn more money could be ways for him to try and prove to you that he’s a better catch now.

#3. Another way to recognize signs your ex wants you back could be listening carefully to the questions he asks you when you catch up again. If he seems to be very interested in what you’re doing and who you spend your time with, then he still has some interest in you. He’s testing the waters to be sure you don’t have a new guy on the scene.

#4. The biggest possible signs your ex wants you back are unmistakable, yet many women miss them! When he says to you ‘I miss you and I want you back’, this is an absolutely certain sign he really wants to come back. It’s surprising how many men tell their ex-girlfriends this, yet the emotionally worried woman simply doesn’t hear it – or worse, she doesn’t believe it. She thinks it’s a trick or that there’s a catch.

#5. The truth is, if he looks you in the eye and tells you he wants to come back, then don’t quiz him or accuse him or be doubtful about his signs. Smile. Be the happy, confident person he fell in love with and that he enjoys spending time with. After all, it’s the positive sign your ex wants you back that you should be looking for.

Five Greatest Fears in Dating for Men and Women

Posted on timeAugust 31st, 2009 by userChristine     flagNo Comments

I recently read an article from Carlos Xuma talking about dating inner game – and the fears and problems that go along with dating, in general, for BOTH men and women. The interesting this is, the fears and problems that men and women have with dating are similar – but not the same, just as what attracts women to men is not the same as what attracts men to women.

When it all boils down, it seems that most of the biggest fears men have are centered around (whether they know it or not) being a capable alpha male, having an alpha personality while women’s are centered around being an able and acceptable mate. (Now, ladies, don’t bludgeon me to death – what I mean is women seem to be more worries about being found acceptable and finding emotional common-ground than men are!)

Here is the list of the 5 biggest fears for Men and Women in dating:

WOMEN’S BIGGEST DATING FEARS:
1. She is not physically or sexually attractive to him (Acceptance)
2. She is not able to foster an emotional connection with him (Retention)
3. She will not get a commitment from him (Retention)
4. She will lose an emotional connection if she DOES connect with him (Retention)
5. She will be left behind for another woman (Retention)

MEN’S BIGGEST DATING FEARS:
1. He will experience rejection or embarrassment (He does not understand what attracts women to men)
2. He will give up his freedom if he does form a connection (He does not understand the alpha personality)
3. He will be seen as unsuccessful or unable to provide for her (alpha male Fears)
4. He will not satisfy her sexually (alpha male Fears)
5. He will not understand her emotions (He does not understand the alpha personality)

So, in looking at these dating fears, we can see a big difference in what men and women think – and we can also see that fear in dating is perfectly natural, and prevalent on BOTH sides of the coin.

Men seem to fear being inadequate in more ways than one – not being able to fulfill her sexual needs, not being able to attract her pr provide for her, not understanding the woman-speak of emotions and emotional needs. Men’s fears seem to center more around alpha behaviors – attracting her, sexually satisfying her, etc – and whether or not they will be able to fulfill these portions of the “dating contract”. If men understood the characteristics of the alpha personality, they would alleviate MANY of these fears easily.

Women, on the other hand, seem to be more afraid of acceptance and retention of a mate – such as not being attractive (thus not selected), not being able to get a commitment, losing her connection, etc. these fears center more around her ability to keep the man she attracts rather than the initial attraction. If a woman understood the concepts of what attracts women to men and vice-versa, they would feel better about this as well.

If you look closely, though, it really seems to fit the same old stereo-type – women need emotional security and men need to feel they can complete the role of the leader and provider.

Go figure!

So – what is one great dating tip that can help EITHER sex take a deep breath and flow more positively and confidently into the role they want? Carlos Xuma calls it “Pause Conditioning”.

Interesting. What he means is this – in the moment that you are in – in the moment of interaction where you feel yourself responding to a stimulus with a knee-jerk reaction that reflects a defensive or unconscious response….

PAUSE.

Here are some examples for men….

-You approach a woman and she does not acknowledge your presence immediately.
What do you do? Do you get immediately embarrassed and walk away and ignore her, or do you…pause…take a deep breath and realize that perhaps she needs a greater attractive opening than you have given her? Perhaps you need to change your approach a little, tweak it to succeed.
-You order a drink for a woman but she seems to only accept it because she is being polite.
What do you do? Do you tell her see you later and walk away with your face on fire? Or do you change your game up a bit and start on the Cocky Comedy and try to spark the attraction?
-You have a sexual experience with a woman and she does not seem fulfilled.
What do you do? Do you never call her again because you are embarrassed, or do you dive in with gusto, taking charge, listening to her body language and showing her passion and the male dominance that women crave in the bedroom?

Keep in mind, men, that if you were to educate yourself about alpha male characteristics, you could blow these fears out of the water easily!

Here are a few examples for women….

-You are with a guy and he looks at another woman.
Do you immediately call him a snake and smack him with your purse, or get angry? Or do you realize that men are visual creatures, take a deep breath and pull out a few attractive tricks of your own from your personal arsenal?
-You feel your man is withdrawn and pulling away.
Do you get clingy and needy trying to evoke his protective response, or do you lean back a little and allow him to come to you when he is ready?
-You are flirting with a guy and he starts coming on to you sexually
Do you respond in kind because you really like him, or do you re-asses your situation and realize that just maybe immediate gratification is not what you NEED in a relationship?

For any of these situations, and a million more that come up in everyday life, if you can train yourself to PAUSE and take a few moments to reflect before you react, you will train yourself to think before you act, and to take actions, then, that are MUCH more along the lines of what YOU want to accomplish in your life.

This goes for dating, relationships, and ANY arena that you are involved in. For men, this is a KEY alpha-male characteristics, leading to calm, logical decisions and not knee-jerk fight or flight responses. For women, it is the same – alpha-female characteristics that lead to mature, lasting relationships full of love with a man who realizes that he has a rare gem on his hands.

Avoiding Injuries in Soccer-Playing Children

Posted on timeAugust 31st, 2009 by userChristine     flagNo Comments

When your young ones don their soccer uniforms, how do you feel? When I beheld mine in their new soccer jerseys for the first time, I felt a great swelling in my breast. So many reasons to be proud. My child is old enough to join in on an activity. My child wants to get involved. My child will develop a skill that will keep her active and fit throughout her life. My child will expand her circle of friends. But there’s another swelling: the fear and anxiety I feel about her precious, perfect little body. Will she be injured? What happen? How can she gain all of the benefits of playing a game she loves with friends she loves without breaking, straining, or tearing her bones, muscles, and ligaments?

The first safety issue is the soccer field itself and the equipment. Start with the field itself. Make sure that the grass is in good condition and doesn’t disguise any holes in the ground. A smooth playing surface can prevent trips and stumbles and the ankle injuries that come with them. The thing to consider is the soccer goals. Make sure that they are sturdy and well padded. Also, instruct the young players not to climb or hang on the goals. Not only can the children fall off the goals, but the goals could also topple onto the children. With the youngest children in particular, this is a rule that will have to be enforced frequently until it is ingrained in their heads. (You know the child-like love of climbing.) As for the ball, synthetic balls are better than leather ones because leather balls tend to absorb water when they are wet and become heavy. A heavy ball can lead to injuries.

Another side of the equipment is the equipment worn by the players, namely the shoes and shin guards. You may think this would be totally obvious because all players wear soccer shoes and shin guards. However, it is important to have the right personal equipment. With the expense of purchasing these items, we have a tendency to hand down one child’s equipment down to the next child when they are outgrown by the first. This scheme makes perfect sense as long as you are conscientious about ensuring that the hand-me-downs fit properly. Properly fitted equipment prevents the shoes or pads from shifting as the child runs and stops suddenly. Also, different shoe types may be needed for different field conditions.

Injury prevention is also a personal matter, a matter of taking care of your body. And care of the body starts long before the beginning of soccer season. Start with a good diet. Good nutrition is particularly important for young soccer players because their bodies are still being formed. Good nutrition is also a simple solution. It’s just a matter of eating a good variety of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. The carbohydrate-based foods should be made up of a wide variety of fruits and vegetables.

A Winter Weather Checklist for Thoughtful Brides

Posted on timeAugust 31st, 2009 by userChristine     flagNo Comments

Anyone planning a Cincinnati wedding in the winter monthsshould be very cautious of weather changes. Even Northern Kentucky wedding plans are many times vulnerable to delayed flights, terrible driving conditions, and bitterly cold winds.

It must be said that there is something quaint and delightful about a little church that is snow covered and filled with twinkling candles. It can almost seem like a fairy tale to get married with family, and friends, looking on and a bride can get carried away with thoughts of perfection without once thinking about what can go wrong. But if some of your family and friends are stuck in the airport because of weather related delays or if your favorite uncle can’t make it through on ice-covered roads it suddenly becomes very important to try to prevent this scenario from occurring.

There is a reason that most brides still prefer the months of May, June and the new favorite month of October. In addition to being months for abundant and beautiful flowers, the mild weather lends itself to outdoor pictures of the entire celebration and the weather in Ohio and Kentucky is pretty predictable during this time. only a few states can boast of the clear, mostly sunny days of May and June, not to mention the brilliant, changing colors of the leaves in early fall during the month of October. There is a honest case to be made that most people who have to travel would really prefer to do so when the scenery is so spectacular and good weather is almost guaranteed. Who wouldn’t enjoy a trip during this time?

But back to the bride who has forever thought of getting married in the winter time. Some girls even want a ceremony during the Christmas season and love the decorations of the season. You know what they always say….this is “Her” day and she should go for it. There are just a few safety measures that should be taken:

• Book a group of accommodations at a nearby hotel for out-of-town guests. In cities where inclement weather is a certainty during the winter months, these rooms can fill up quickly and your guests will be out of luck trying to book a room.

• Arrange for transportation to and from the hotel being used by your guests. In case of terrible weather no-one will have to worry about driving on treacherous roads in an unfamiliar city. This is also a nice gesture for getting guests home after a reception that goes on late into the night.

• Provide concise, detailed instructions and be sure to include a map to the church and to the reception sites. While these are always appreciated, when the weather is bad they become a lifeline to a frustrated and weary traveler. No one wants to waste extra time on the road than they have to when in an unknown city.

• Ask a relative if you can print his or her telephone number on the map and/or driving instructions in case someone needs more explanation during their journey. If a road happens to be closed or if severe weather comes up unexpectedly, a person who knows the area can guide travelers around potential problem areas.

Helpful Hints for Breeding Hunting Dogs

Posted on timeAugust 31st, 2009 by userChristine     flagNo Comments

Purely for the love of the breed! This is the primary reason that people become breeders. Though most purebred dogs do fetch a good price, the breeders aren’t in it for the money. For any breed of dog, breeding requires years of commitment, a wealth of resources, and a great deal of research. Hunting dogs have specific needs that other breeds may not have.

While a show quality dog should have certain physical characteristics like a head that is in proportion to their body or a straight tail, a good hunting dog also has characteristics that are important – they have a certain temperament that allows them to be trained, are suited for hunting and they are not jumpy or nervous around gunshots. Everyone understands that a dog that is bred as a ‘pet’ really needs only one quality – the willingness to play well with others. Hunting dogs do not always make good pets, though certainly most hunting dogs are good pets as they love being around people.

Show-quality dogs are hard to come by. In a litter of pups where both parents are of show-quality, you may get one or two that are also show-quality. In a litter where the parents are not quite show-quality, only one of the pups may be show-quality if you’re very lucky. The only certainty is that all of the pups will make great pets, and some of them will be excellent hunters too.

Because show-quality dogs are so rare, it is important that their pedigree be kept in order. If your dogs do not have papers, you’re not going to get the same price for them as you would if they were. If you are a good trainer as well as a breeder, you may be able to get a high price either way. Fine-tuned instincts, fearlessness, a sense of adventure, and a desire to please are all traits of a prized hunter.

A clear pedigree is not the only requirement. Both parents must have all the qualities you want in your pups. If you own a bitch, be sure the father has everything you’re looking for. If he is difficult to find, artificial insemination and many breeding services can offer alternatives. But however it happens, the big day will arrive when the puppies are born.

While it is unlikely that you will have any problems, it is always a good idea to have a vet on call or even another dog handler who has had experience in the birthing process. Typically, the mom is likely to take care of herself – you on the other hand may need some reassurance or even some assistance. If the bitch does not begin caring for her pups immediately, you may have to take action and it is helpful to have someone who is knowledgeable on hand.

Assuming everything has gone according to plan, the puppies should be fully weaned before they are sold. This takes at least six weeks, but most breeders choose to wait as long as eight weeks of age. The puppies should all have had their beginning series of shots. At about four months, hunting dog training begins. It can take up to a year to fully train a hunter, but the dog will have all its basic hunting skills by the time it is one year old.

As a breeder, you reap the rewards of the happiness and love you get from your dogs and this does not change even if you must sell them. If you are a breeder who is considering selling a dog you have bred remember that you are under no obligation to sell the dog. Make sure that your dog has a good home – just because someone has the money to purchase, a dog does not make them an ideal owner. Deny anyone who you feel is not an appropriate companion for your dogs. It is not only your right, but it is your responsibility to ensure that the pups are in a good, safe and welcoming home.

Hunting dogs are a lot of fun and great pets, but you have to make sure you have all the proper training supplies. Innotek has some great products out there, such as the Innotek Field Pro Series, the Innotek ADV-1002, and the Innotek ADV-300P.

The Top Dog Health Advice on Why Dogs Get Sick

Posted on timeAugust 31st, 2009 by userChristine     flagNo Comments

This is a pretty open ended question and one that could easily fill volumes of text which we do not have. We are going to highlight some things that might prove to be helpful and hopefully enlightening and will prove to be useful as far as dog health advice to those of you that are new to pet ownership and might even shock some of you that have owned a dog your entire life.

So why do dogs get sick? Well for a good majority of them it happens because of two factors. The weather is one of them. If the family pooch is left out in inclement weather they are definitely more prove to getting sick. They are mammals just like us and if you were to say leave them outside in the driving fall rain and they get soaked and then the temperature freezes and they are still out there. There is a good chance that they will at the very least come down with some type of cold.

The second most common reason for a sick dog is by human error. Dogs are known for sniffing around and getting into things. It is what dogs do. That makes them very susceptible to becoming sick from ingesting something that they shouldn’t. Environmental poisons left by the people that are their masters. Things like household bleach or antifreeze left in the garage. All of these things can make dogs get sick at the very least and can cause a very painful and ugly death.

So a really good piece of dog health symptoms is to make sure that anything that is down where the animal can get to it is something that won’t make you sick. That equates to using the common sense that you have acquired over your lifetime.

While it is true that a dog can eat things that would normally make a human as sick as, well - a dog - it is still not a good idea. I have seen my neighbors give rancid meat to their pet. Food that could actually be smelled from a few yards away and smelled really bad. The dog ate it, later he seemed to have to poop more than normal but no other ill effects. But why take the chance of killing something that you love? My rule of thumb is that if it is human food that I would not eat myself, it hits the trash and not my dog.
Water is another thing that can cause illness. Dogs like to lap up water wherever they find it. However standing pools of water can hold lots of disease-ridden things. SO another good piece of dog health advice here would be to make sure that your pet has a good supply of fresh water to drink.

If you are going to be gone for some period of time and your puppy is an outdoor dog the least you can do is arrange for someone to feed and water him while you are gone, or even better - look into an automatic feeder and water dispenser to solve the problem and help keep him fed and healthy.

3 Tips For Exposing One’s Photography Services

Posted on timeAugust 30th, 2009 by userChristine     flagNo Comments

When Chester decided to open his own studio, he vowed to be the most affordable wedding photographer Louisville Ky residents could find. He also vowed to be the most dependable wedding photographer Ky brides could hire. He figured by having the best prices and by being the most dependable, he would never be lacking for customers. Unfortunately, this was not the way it was. He found himself many weekends without a job and wondered what it would take to get his studio thriving. He questioned the quality of his work. Were his pictures on par or better than his competition? He tried to view his work objectively and he believed that indeed, his pictures were quite impressive. He had honest friends take a look at his pictures as well. They assured him that his work was creative and fun and captured vibrant images and scenes. This led Chester to assume that his lack of business was not a result of poor quality, but of a failure to properly market his services. He thought about his method of advertising. He had spent a tidy sum of money taking out an advertisement in his local phone book. He also, from time to time, would run a small ad in the Daily Times. Chester realized that he needed an advertising strategy where his pictures could be seen by possible clients. He brainstormed several marketing options that might be of benefit.

The first thing Chester decided to do in order to get his pictures seen by potential customers was to document them on his very own website. An old buddy of his offered to help Chester create a business website that would showcase his prior work. The website would also include the studio phone number and address, as well as, background information. Although Chester used the internet everyday for checking e-mail and catching up on news stories, he had not really considered the possibility of customizing his own web page. He was not particularly good with this kind of technology and truthfully, had been doubtful that a web address would see a lot of action. As he looked into this type of advertising he had to admit he liked what he saw. He thought that for the minimal time and financial investment it would take to create, a website would definitely be a win-win situation.

The second strategy Chester utilized was volunteering some of his time to take pictures for well- attended community events. As he took images of happy float riders during town parades, and kids with faces being painted at charity carnivals, he had plenty of personalized business cards to hand out. That way, as these great quality pictures were processed and displayed around town and in local newspaper articles, his contact information was in the hands of the people whose images he had captured.

The third strategy Chester tried was taking class pictures and individual portraits of local students. By marketing his services there, he was attempting to develop name and quality recognition with local families. He discounted his portrait packages in the hope of acquiring further business as time went by. The family able to experience the quality of his work taking something basic like a school portrait, was sure to be pleased with a more in-depth studio session.
